Adobe Illustrator - Vector Based Imaging.

In this software module you will learn how to create line drawn (Vector based) images, differing to Photoshop (Raster based) images.

This is line drawing - vector based software.

The Illustrator interface is similar to Photoshop, but there are significant differences.

It is practical to create an Illustrator image and finish off parts in Photoshop. This in particular applies to colouring and gradients, which are far better done in Photoshop.


The assessment tasks involve research and in one task making a copy of a researched design logo. In the second task it could be a copy or your own fantastic and imaginative creation.
