Paper Aeroplane Research Project - Weeks 9 and 10 - Term 2 - 7TMand.

.7 Research Project on Paper Aeroplanes
The use of paper airplanes is believed to have originated 2,000 years ago in China . The earliest known date of the creation of modern paper planes was said to have been in 1909. However, the most accepted version of the creation was two decades later in 1930 by Jack Northrop (Co-founder of Lockheed Corporation).

Google research as many different paper aeroplane designs as you can.
Save the images and the information in a Powerpoint slideshow.

Slide 2  onwards, (minimum 20 slides), an image and brief description about the paper plane. (See the slide examples below)

(An example of what is needed).

A few more examples.

In these examples there are three different approaches to design: Wide and a long tail, sleek with a pointy nose, a wide plane with triangular dynamics. Whis is the fastest and which will go the furthest distance, is a question of making and trying!
