During November, the school held a Thai Culture Day. All of the teachers and many of the students dressed up in traditional Thai costumes. Then, at lunchtime, a competition was held to see how properly the students could perform in a number of different situations. In the first picture above, Kru Yai (the principal) is greeted by the teachers. In the last picture, the students taking part in the competition are waiting to be called.

At the first base, the students had to demonstrate that they could wai properly to a Buddha image. A teacher to one side gave them a score.

The second and third base involved giving a proper greeting to adults.

The last two bases were to show the proper way of receiving and giving a gift.
