Sawatdee Krub! My name is Kornkrit Manming and I am the Head Boy at Sriwittayapaknam School in Thailand. Please join me for a tour of our school.

Sriwittayapaknam School (pronounced see-wit-ta-ya-pak-nam) is in Samut Prakarn which is an industrial city about 35 kilometres south of Bangkok. We are in the heart of the city, not far from the Chao Phraya River. From the top floor of the school buildings we can see big ships heading upriver towards Bangkok.

The school has two large buildings. Both of these have replaced the original wooden buildings which the school had when it first opened in 1956. Building One (on the left) has 5 floors. The gym occupies the entire 5th floor. Building Two (on the right) has 6 floors. The computer center occupies the entire 6th floor.

You are now standing at the front entrance. You will first enter into Building Two. The school has about 1700 students and 76 teachers. We have Triam Anuban (Preschool), Anuban (kindergarten), Prathom (primary) and Mattayom Ton (Junior High) students. The ages range from 3 to 15.
