Frame Takes

Shooting one continuous frame maybe good for a very short video segment but it does not work with longer shoots.

Again make sure when you shoot that you use a tripod and never resort to hand-held shoots, as they 'always' wobble!

Frame takes can be a whole sequence, a part of a sequence or a small shot of the sequence.

When shooting a live production, such as a concert, the sequence would be the whole act - such a a song, a dance, or a musical number. The sequence cannot be broken into sub-sequences as it is the complete individual performance you are shooting.

But a whole concert would however be shot, one act a time. Here you would have to consider including or excluding the compare.

In a drama, you would consider framing each sequence and possibly re-framing when there is a scene change. That is if it's a continuous production.
