Learning Adobe Illustrator - Vector Based Drawing Software.

First you need to have a look at the Illustrator Toolbox which is quite different to Photoshop. Click on the thumbnail for the larger image. Note some tools are under others. If an arrow shows on a toolbox item on the bottom right hand size, this means other tools are underneath. Right mouse click to access.

The paint bucket is not as user friendly in Illustrator. But you can save the file in Illustrator and open it in Photoshop to access the better paint bucket and then save the file to re-open it in Illustrator.
Exercises to do to start learning Illustrator:
1/. In a new window 1280px wide, make some shapes and fill them using the Swatches window, the Swatches and the Symbol Sprayer Tool.
2/. Create a sphere, then cut it in half and remove one part of it.

3/. Create a letterhead. It can be Portrait or Landscape - your choice.

4/. Research a logo that you can re-create, then create it!

5/. Create a poster, using the dimensions 1280 x 960 pixels.
