Another method of masking. Masks2. - Blending Images.

This time with four images and using the Layers and Opacity commandfor each image going onto the background.

The finished image:

The original images (small thumbs linking to the larger images).
Opacity set at 100% Opacity set at 43% Opacity set at 33% Opacity set at 17%*
The steps:
1/. Open Photoshop and ensure the Layers window appears on the right.
2/. Find a background image and save it to your UDrive folder Multimedia_Masks.
3/. Find a second layer image.
4/. Find a third layer image.
5/. Find a fourth layer image.

Now all these images will need to mask in seamlessly. In the case of the girl, there was a need to remove the background, as it was competing with the rest of the images by shadowing in rather than blending it. *This was simply done by creating a new image, same size, with a transparent background, the copy paste and position in bottom right.

6/. Copy/Paste each image onto the original image, but in the Layers Window you will see an Opacity level. Reduce the Opacity from 100% to the desired level. Use the guides above to assist. (Make sure in Photoshop the layers are turned on, so you can see them. Window/Layers).
