Hong Kong Airport, built on what was once an island in Victoria Harbour, which was levelled to become a really busy airport. Chek Lap Kok is an island in the western waters of Hong Kong's New Territories. It is surrounded by many high rise apartments and the harbour itself. It is linked to the island Kowloon by bridges.
