A Research Project on DSLR Cameras.

Task 1

Research three different types of cameras and answer these questions about each one. In your answer you will need to name the camera brand, model number and it’s category (DSLR – multi change lens, DSLR single lens zoom.

Questions you need to research and answer

1/. Zoom focal length range (from what to what distance).

2/. oes it have swappable or fixed lens.

3/. What is the number of megapixels it is capable of shooting.

4/. Video capability – is it capable of 4K video (4000 pixels horizontal resolution approximately).

5/. Approximate retail price.

6/. Does the camera take macro shots.

7/. What is the camera’s weight.

8/. What are the camera’s dimensions.

9/. Does the camera have a viewfinder as well as a back screen for shooting.

10/. Does the camera have a manual setting.

 

 

Pentax K70

This is a heavier weight interchangeable lens camera.

It cost (with lens) about $1900.00.

It has a mirror lens.

The zoom range is 18/270mm.

The zoom is manually driven.

Great with Macro photography,

 

Panasonic Lumix FZ300

This is a lightweight fixed lens camera, which means only one lens ever and it is non-removable.

It cost all up about $900.

It is a computer!

The lens is a famous Leica brand and zooms from 28mm to 600mm.

The zoom is electronically driven, just by sliding the controller left or right.

Really easy to operate.

Not so good with macro photography.

Lumix TZ90

It cost about $500

This is a really compact camera, with a fixed lens and flash.

It has a Leica lens and zooms from 24mm to 720mm.
The zoom is electronically driven, just by sliding the controller left or right.

Really, really easy to operate.

Not so good with macro photography.
