Scripting.

1/. Scripting is more than storytelling, it's about the six w's:

Who - (are the characters).

What - (is the movie about).

When - (was it set).

Where - (location - inside classroom, outside).

Why - (the event).

Wow - How (does it all fit together).

What needs to be covered in the video shoot:

2/. What's needed in the script.

2.1. Read the script and identify what is happening in each scene, so that you can organise your shoot to take in what is being shown.

2.2. Review the scenes and backdrops, as well as supporting "actors".

2.3.Work on the scene sequences. Use the pause to switch between scenes, to avoid " jumping frames".

2.4. Think about and plan what is being shot in each scene. Ensure the subject/s are within the frame and not missing any vitals – such as a head, or including one of the subjects that is not in the shoot.
