Rows and Columns - Rows are referred to by a number 1 - infinity, Columns - by Alphabetical A - XFD

Just as in Word, you need to set the margins to use as much of the space as possible.

Page Layout - Narrow

Decide whether the workbook is to be portrait - 210 x 297 or landscape - 297 x 210

Cell Widths and Cell Wrap - (see Cells)

 

Excel allows you to print:

A worksheet.

A section of a worksheet.

A whole workbook.

As an Acrobat .pdf file

Select print and define the print selection.
